Admin account
After your zone is approved, each administrator you have designated will receive a personalized administrator account for managing your zone. The accounts are named according to the following scheme:
rub_$Zone_$loginid
Please note that changes within your zone can only be commissioned by the designated administrator accounts.
Admin computer
You need a computer that meets the following requirements to manage your zone.
- The computer is a member of your zone.
- The required Microsoft administration tools are installed.
Add computers to the zone
As described in the "Computer" chapter, devices can be added to the domain either via the graphical user interface (GUI) or using PowerShell.
To use the GUI, a computer object must first be created in Active Directory. Please provide the hostname of your administrator computer so we can create the initial computer object for you.
You can perform this step independently using PowerShell.
